About

A calm, cited reading of the market — and of your own holdings.

The Portfolio · Brief is an editorial publication about Indian equities. Calm where the rest of the financial internet is screaming; cited where the rest is vibes. We read the primary source — the filings companies submit to the BSE and NSE — and write them up as plain, cited stories. No tips, no targets, no hype.

How we work

Every article starts from a primary source — the company’s own filing with the exchange. We read the filing, pull out what moved, and write it plainly, with every figure traced back to the document it came from. If a number isn’t in the filing, it isn’t in the article.

Each piece is checked for source-accuracy before it publishes: every quoted figure is matched against the filing it’s drawn from, and we link that filing so you can read it yourself. The standard is the one a careful analyst would hold.

Our articles are drafted with automated assistance and checked against the source filing before publishing.

Who publishes this

What we don’t do

We don’t recommend stocks — no buy, sell, or hold, no price targets, no “multibaggers.” The Portfolio Brief is an information service, not investment advice.
