AdaniConneX acquires Chandenvalle Infra Park for data-centre build-out

Adani Enterprises said its data-centre joint venture AdaniConneX has bought 100% of Chandenvalle Infra Park, a land-and-licence holder yet to begin commercial activity, from group company Adani Power.

What was filed

Adani Enterprises Limited told the exchanges that AdaniConneX Private Limited ("ACX"), its joint venture, has acquired a 100% equity stake in Chandenvalle Infra Park Limited ("CIPL") from Adani Power Limited. The company said it received information of the completed transaction on 27 August 2026. Consideration was paid in cash against shares, and the filing states the acquisition required no governmental or regulatory approvals.

What ACX is buying

CIPL is an infrastructure-development company incorporated in Gujarat on 24 February 2022. It has no turnover because it is yet to commence commercial activities. Per the filing, its value lies in what it already holds: a sizeable land parcel and key licences to begin infrastructure work, which the company said would give ACX a head start. The stated object of the acquisition is to set up data-centre infrastructure facilities.

A group-internal transfer

The filing notes that CIPL is controlled, directly or indirectly, by the promoter/promoter group of Adani Enterprises, and that the seller, Adani Power, is a fellow group company. The company states the acquisition is not a related-party transaction for it under SEBI LODR and that it was done on an arm's-length basis.

Why it matters to a holder

The transaction moves a licence-and-land-holding company into AdaniConneX, the vehicle through which Adani Enterprises pursues data-centre infrastructure. Because CIPL has no operating revenue yet, the filing frames the deal as an early-stage build-out asset rather than a revenue-adding acquisition.

For a holder, the filing signals continued capital deployment into AdaniConneX's data-centre ambitions via a group-internal transfer; because the target has no revenue yet, the near-term impact rests on future build-out rather than current earnings.
