What was filed
Aurobindo Pharma released a press release covering its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The disclosure reports year-on-year growth in revenue, operating EBITDA and net profit, alongside a geography- and business-wise breakdown of sales. The company will host an earnings call at 8.30 AM IST on 6 August 2026.
Where the growth came from
Per the filing, revenue rose across all business lines. Europe was the fastest-growing large segment in rupee terms — an 11.0% rise in euro terms — and now accounts for 32.1% of consolidated revenue. Growth Markets formulations expanded the most in percentage terms. US revenue growth was more measured, which the company attributes to volume gains and new launches, partially offset by the absence of transient product sales. ARV revenue was broadly stable. On the API side, the company flagged sequential seasonal softness in its antibiotics portfolio even as year-on-year API revenue grew.
The company said it received final USFDA approval for 10 products during the quarter, several of them first-to-file, spanning anti-diabetic, antifibrotic and cardiovascular therapy areas. On a cumulative basis it reports 896 ANDA filings with 737 final approvals.
Balance sheet and cash
The filing states Aurobindo held a net cash position (including investments) of USD 42 million as on 30 June 2026, after paying USD 247 million for the Lannett acquisition and completing an USD 85 million buyback during the quarter. Free cash flow for the quarter was USD 98 million. Reported EBITDA excludes a one-time ₹43 crore impact from derecognition of a lease receivable, per the filing footnote.
