What was filed
IHCL released a press release reporting consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half year ending September 30, 2026. The company described the quarter as its eighteenth consecutive record quarter and its best-ever second quarter, and used the release to upgrade full-year guidance and detail portfolio expansion.
The filing is the company's own press release, drawing on management commentary, rather than the detailed audited statements.
What drove the quarter
Management described growth as broad-based. It attributed the quarter's performance to a 25% rise in RevPAR from domestic same-store hotels, a 25% increase in management fee income led by new openings, 25% revenue growth in the Select Service Business, and the contribution from the recent acquisitions of Brij and Atmantan.
On a standalone basis, the company cited RevPAR growth of 28% in full-service same-store hotels, helped by marquee events in the capital and by renovated assets in Goa, Delhi, Bengaluru and Udaipur.
Guidance upgrade, portfolio and the OHL merger
The company said it is raising its FY2027 consolidated revenue guidance from 12–14% to 15–17% growth, led by expected hotel segment revenue growth of 17–19%, citing seasonally stronger quarters ahead and demand from social and MICE events. It reported 47 signings in the first half, taking the portfolio to 670 hotels with a pipeline of 280 hotels totalling more than 32,000 rooms, and said it is set to reach its Accelerate 2030 target of a 700-hotel portfolio ahead of schedule.
Separately, the release reiterated the announced merger of OHL with IHCL, which the company says will simplify the group holding structure. The scheme has been filed with the stock exchanges with an appointed date of April 1, 2027.
