What the Board approved
At its meeting on 22 August 2026, IREDA's Board disclosed two actions to the exchanges. It approved changes in the company's Senior Management Personnel, citing organisational requirements and administrative exigencies: three General Managers (Projects) and one Additional General Manager (Projects) ceased to be Senior Management Personnel with effect from the same date. The filing names no replacements and gives no further detail on the roles. The Board also fixed the record date for the FY2025-26 final dividend it had recommended earlier, on 29 May 2026.
The dividend timeline
The final dividend, recommended on the ₹10 face value, remains subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The record date for ascertaining member entitlement is Friday, 11 September 2026; if approved at the AGM, payment will be made within 30 days of that approval, net of tax deducted at source.
The company noted that dividend income is taxable in shareholders' hands and that those seeking a lower or nil TDS rate must submit the required documents by 11 September 2026 through the prescribed portal. It also flagged that, following recent SEBI (LODR) amendments, dividend will be paid exclusively by electronic mode — physical cheques and warrants have been discontinued — and asked members to ensure their bank details are updated with their depository participant.
Why it matters to a holder
For a shareholder, the record date is the operative fact: only members on the register as of 11 September 2026 are entitled to the final dividend, contingent on AGM approval. The management changes are described purely as administrative and organisational, with the filing giving no indication of operational impact.
