NHPC Fixes 12 August 2026 Record Date for Proposed FY26 Final Dividend

The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.21 per share for FY2025-26, payable to members on the register as on 12 August 2026 if declared at the 50th AGM.

What was filed

NHPC told the exchanges that its 50th Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday, 28 August 2026 at 11:30 A.M. through video conferencing / other audio-visual means. Alongside the AGM intimation, the company fixed a record date under Regulation 42 of the SEBI LODR Regulations for its proposed final dividend for FY2025-26.

The dividend and the dates

The board has recommended a final dividend on the paid-up equity share capital for FY2025-26, subject to declaration by members at the AGM. Members whose names appear in the Register of Members or List of Beneficial Owners as on the record date will be entitled to receive it. The register of members and share transfer books will remain closed from 13 August to 28 August 2026, both days inclusive. If declared, the dividend will be paid as per the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.

Context

This is a procedural intimation tied to the AGM cycle. The full AGM notice and the Annual Report 2025-26 are to be circulated in due course and posted on the company's and exchanges' websites; they were not part of this filing. The payout remains subject to shareholder approval at the meeting.
