Shakti Pumps Wins Maharashtra Order for 15,000 Off-Grid Solar Water Pumps

MSEDCL has empanelled the company to design, supply and install 15,000 off-grid solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra.

The order

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited told the exchanges it has received a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The order covers off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems in ratings of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP, to be supplied for the entire state of Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.

Scope and terms

Per the filing, the scope spans design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of the off-grid solar pumping systems, to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order or Notice to Proceed. The award is from a domestic entity; the filing states that neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and that the order does not fall within related party transactions.
