SJVN sets 24 August 2026 record date for ₹0.35 FY26 final dividend

The power CPSE fixed Monday, 24 August 2026 as the record date for eligibility to its ₹0.35-per-share final dividend, subject to shareholder approval at the 38th AGM.

What was filed

SJVN Limited has told the exchanges that its Board fixed **Monday, 24 August 2026** as the record date under Regulation 42 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, to determine which members are eligible for the final dividend for FY2025-26. The payout is subject to declaration by shareholders at the 38th Annual General Meeting, scheduled for 31 August 2026 through video conferencing. The same date is also the cut-off for remote e-voting eligibility, with the voting window running from 28 August to 30 August 2026.

The FY26 dividend

The proposed final dividend follows an interim dividend the Board declared in February 2026 and paid during the year; together the two make up the total dividend for the year ended 31 March 2026. Per the AGM notice, the final dividend, if declared, will be paid within 30 days of declaration to members on the register at the close of business on the record date.

Other AGM business

Alongside the dividend, the AGM notice lists the ordinary business of adopting the FY26 audited accounts and re-appointing a retiring director, plus special business covering board appointments made by the President of India through the Ministry of Power: Whole-Time Directors for Finance and Projects, a Government of India nominee director, and an independent director. These reflect SJVN's status as a government company, where board appointments flow from the administrative ministry.
