Its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has commissioned the Jewali Wind Project in Dharashiv district, Maharashtra, built on SG 3.6-145 wind turbine generators.

The company said electricity from Jewali will be supplied to Tata Power Mumbai Distribution, helping it meet its Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) targets.
