What was filed
Uday Jewellery Industries Limited released its unaudited standalone results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27) through a press release under Regulation 30. The company said the results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting on August 13, 2026.
The filing frames the quarter as year-on-year growth across revenue, EBITDA and profitability, with both gross and operating margins expanding versus the same quarter a year earlier.
What the company points to
Management attributed the growth to sustained consumer demand, cost discipline and the benefits of scale following the NCLT-approved merger of the erstwhile Narbada Gems and Jewellery Limited into the company. It credited the gross-margin gain — the sharpest movement in the quarter — to a favourable product mix and continued sourcing efficiencies.
The company also addressed seasonality directly: it said the fourth quarter (January–March), which captures the peak wedding and festive season, remains its strongest, and that the sequential moderation from Q4 FY26 to Q1 FY27 reflects that established pattern rather than any change in underlying demand.
Capital and listing developments
Per the filing, paid-up equity capital rose to ₹34.05 crore as on June 30, 2026 from ₹33.60 crore as on March 31, 2026, following an allotment of equity shares on May 1, 2026 on conversion of the final tranche of warrants.
The company also said it continues to pursue an application to list its equity shares on the National Stock Exchange, in addition to its existing BSE listing.
