Federal Bank establishes US$500 million medium-term note programme

The bank told the exchanges it has formally set up a US$500 million MTN programme, with the offering circular filed with NSE IFSC.

What was filed

The Federal Bank informed the NSE and BSE that it has established a US$500 million medium-term note (MTN) programme. The intimation follows an earlier disclosure dated September 17, 2026, in which the Bank reported that its Board of Directors had approved setting up the programme. Per the filing, the programme was formally established on the date of the intimation.

Where the details sit

The filing is a procedural intimation under Regulation 30 of the LODR Regulations, and does not carry the substantive terms of the programme. The Bank said the offering circular has been submitted to NSE IFSC Limited and is available on its website, with the intimation also posted on the Bank's own disclosures page. The structure, tenor or pricing of any notes issued under the programme would have to be read from that offering circular; those specifics are not disclosed here.

MTN programme size
US$500 million

An MTN programme sets up a framework under which the Bank can issue debt to overseas investors over time. Establishing it does not by itself raise capital, but it defines the channel through which future foreign-currency borrowing may occur. Holders may wish to track the offering circular and any subsequent issuances for the actual terms.
