L&T Wins Offshore ONGC Order for Ratna-I and NLM-14 Development off India's West Coast

L&T's Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore arm has secured an ONGC EPCIC order for new offshore platforms and subsea infrastructure, classified "large" without a stated value.

The order

Larsen & Toubro told the exchanges that its L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) arm has won an order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Additional Development of Ratna–I (ADR I) and NLM-14 project, off India's west coast. The company classified the win as "large" under its own order-size bands but did not state a specific contract value in the release.

Scope of the work

Per the filing, the project covers engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of three new well-head platforms, one riser platform, multiple segments of subsea pipelines and cables, and brownfield modifications to existing offshore installations. L&T said the work aims to enhance production and support the continued development of ONGC's offshore assets in the region, combining new facilities with modifications inside existing operating fields.

How L&T frames the size

L&T does not publish an exact order value in this release; instead it uses a five-tier classification. On that scale, a "large" order sits in the ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore band, per the table in the filing. That range is the only quantitative guide to scale the company provided.

USD 32 billion

The order adds to L&T's hydrocarbon-offshore order book, but the company disclosed only a classification band rather than a firm value, so holders cannot size the exact revenue contribution from this release alone.
